Job Summary:
We are seeking a proactive and experienced Cloud Infrastructure Engineer to design, implement, and manage scalable, secure, and highly available cloud infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have expertise in AWS, Azure, or GCP, along with strong knowledge of networking, automation, and infrastructure as code (IaC).
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, deploy, and manage cloud infrastructure on AWS, Azure, or GCP to support enterprise applications and services.
- Implement and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools like Terraform, CloudFormation, or Pulumi.
- Automate provisioning, scaling, and management of resources using CI/CD pipelines.
- Ensure high availability, fault tolerance, and disaster recovery for critical systems.
- Monitor system performance, logs, and metrics using tools like CloudWatch, Azure Monitor, Stackdriver, Prometheus, or Datadog.
- Maintain cloud security best practices including IAM policies, VPC configuration, encryption, and compliance standards.
- Troubleshoot and resolve cloud infrastructure issues and participate in root cause analysis.
- Work closely with DevOps, Security, and Application teams to align infrastructure solutions with business needs.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- 5+ years of experience in cloud infrastructure engineering.
- Hands-on experience with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
- Strong knowledge of networking, DNS, load balancers, VPNs, and firewalls in cloud environments.
- Experience with scripting and automation using Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
- Proficiency with IaC tools (Terraform, CloudFormation) and version control (Git).
- Solid understanding of cloud security, identity & access management, and cost optimization.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Cloud certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Azure Administrator, or Google Cloud Engineer).
- Experience with container platforms (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Familiarity with hybrid cloud and on-premises to cloud migration strategies.
- Exposure to DevOps practices and tools like Jenkins, Ansible, GitLab CI/CD.
