Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Cyber Security Engineer to protect our systems, networks, and applications from security threats. The ideal candidate will be responsible for implementing, monitoring, and maintaining security solutions, identifying vulnerabilities, and ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, implement, and manage security systems to protect infrastructure and data (firewalls, IDS/IPS, antivirus, etc.).
  • Conduct vulnerability assessments, penetration tests, and risk analyses across networks and applications.
  • Monitor systems for suspicious activity, incidents, and breaches, and respond to security alerts.
  • Work with development and IT teams to ensure secure software development and cloud configurations.
  • Manage identity and access management (IAM), including role-based access controls and MFA.
  • Ensure systems comply with industry security standards (ISO 27001, NIST, CIS, GDPR, etc.).
  • Maintain and improve SIEM tools (e.g., Splunk, ELK, QRadar) for real-time threat monitoring and incident response.
  • Develop and maintain security documentation, policies, and incident response procedures.
  • Provide training and awareness to internal teams on cybersecurity best practices.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in cybersecurity engineering, security operations, or IT security roles.
  • Strong understanding of network security, encryption, firewalls, intrusion detection, and endpoint protection.
  • Experience with SIEM tools, security audits, and incident response.
  • Familiarity with cloud security (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and tools like AWS GuardDuty, Security Hub, or Azure Security Center.
  • Proficiency in scripting (Python, Bash, or PowerShell) and automation of security tasks.
  • Knowledge of compliance standards such as ISO 27001, NIST, HIPAA, or SOC2.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Professional certifications such as CEH, CISSP, CISM, CompTIA Security+, OSCP, or similar.
  • Experience with zero trust architectures, data loss prevention (DLP), and endpoint detection and response (EDR).
  • Exposure to DevSecOps practices and securing CI/CD pipelines.
  • Familiarity with security in containers and Kubernetes environments.
