Job Summary:
We are looking for a skilled DevOps Engineer to streamline and enhance our software development, deployment, and infrastructure management processes. The ideal candidate will have experience with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP), CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure as code (IaC), and container orchestration.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, build, and maintain robust CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or AWS CodePipeline.
- Manage and monitor cloud infrastructure (preferably AWS) and ensure high availability, scalability, and security.
- Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible.
- Set up and manage Docker containers and orchestrate using Kubernetes, ECS, or EKS.
- Automate environment provisioning, deployments, backups, and monitoring tasks.
- Collaborate with development and QA teams to ensure smooth deployment workflows.
- Monitor application and infrastructure performance using tools like Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, or CloudWatch.
- Troubleshoot system issues and support incident response and recovery processes.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- 5+ years of experience as a DevOps Engineer or in a similar role.
- Hands-on experience with cloud platforms, especially AWS (EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, VPC, etc.).
- Proficiency with CI/CD tools, Git, and scripting languages like Bash or Python.
- Experience with containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes, ECS, or EKS).
- Familiarity with Linux systems administration, networking, and security best practices.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Certifications such as AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, CKA/CKAD, or Terraform Associate.
- Experience with monitoring and logging tools like CloudWatch, ELK stack, Datadog, or Prometheus.
- Understanding of serverless architectures and deployment strategies.
- Exposure to Agile/Scrum methodologies.
